At Home Learning: More links may be added as time goes on. Here is the link to our School Learning Commons Website:https://sites.google.com/nlesd.ca/stteresasllc/home Here is a link to a YouTube channel in french that can connect their learning between the two languages. Most of the kids really enjoy it. All they need to do is sit and watch! Also, since there are visuals, parents can learn/understand too!
Maybe you would rather not make a mess? Then make your paint and put in a ziplock bag and tape it to the window with painter's tape! Kids can make designs with their fingers or even practice their french words (haha maybe not?). Sometimes it's just fun to squish! This link has a different recipe, which you may wish to try, but it also gives you an understanding of what I am talking about here: https://www.scribbledoodleanddraw.com/2012/12/squeezing-in-some-fun.html
Playdough: When I was a kid, my aunt would always make playdough for me. I loved it! If you have the ingredients (let's not forget the time, the patience and a willing child) why not make this with your child!? I read a suggestion that adding a scent may be nice.
